Entry Procedure
Pre-Preparatory Department
(Years K. R. 1 and 2)
Children are admitted during the term in which their third birthday falls.
The school has 3 open days during the year and parents may also contact the Registrar to arrange individual appointments to visit the school. If parents wish to apply for a place, they should then register their child. An appointment will be made for parents to attend a selection interview with their child during November or April. All registered candidates are interviewed and offers are made to successful applicants in the February or May preceding the year of entry.
Interviews may be held at other times at the Head Teacher's discretion.
Children may be admitted at other times during the Pre-Prep years if vacancies arise.
- Parents and child will be invited for interview.
- Child will spend a day in school during which he/she will be formally assessed.
- A confidential report will be requested from the child's school.

Children may be admitted at other times during the Prep. Years if vacancies arise.
- Parents and child will be invited for interview.
- Child will spend a day in school during which he/she will take formal tests in mathematics and English.
- A confidential report will be requested from the child's current school.
In all instances parents will be advised in writing as to whether their application has been successful.
