We believe that it is never too early to give your child a great academic start.  Our educational philosophy combines the best of Montessori education and modern facilities.  It is based on a sensible balance between freedom and structure, specifically designed for the young child.  It gives your child a strong basis, during his/her most formative years for developing into a well-rounded responsible, happy and fulfilled adult.

Oakfields school follows the Government's under 5's Early Years Foundation Stage profile where children work towards the goals for Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematical Development, Knowledge and understanding of the World, Creative and Physical Development.

Children are admitted during the term in which their third birthday falls.  They will be nurtured and encouraged, but allowed to develop at their own pace, using their own abilities, discovering the world through play-based, first hand experiences and multi-sensory learning.

We aim to create a caring environment where each child can reach their full potential and foster a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their formal years of schooling.
