We currently educate 206 children, aged 3 to 11 and have a progressive and energetic approach to teaching and learning. Our staff are committed to achieving the highest standards and contribute generously to the wider school life. The school, which is set in a Grade II-listed building surrounded by seven acres of beautiful grounds, has some wonderful facilities and resources, including a dedicated art facility, ICT suite and heated indoor swimming pool.

Full-Time Teacher (Term time plus INSET and School Events)

Required September 2019

We are looking for an inspirational teacher to start in September 2019, who has the ability to teach KS1 and KS2.  The successful candidate should have very high standards of Mathematics and English.  It would be an advantage to have an additional curriculum strength which they could bring to this position. Oakfields is a small friendly Independent Day School in a beautiful setting.

The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, teach and provide effective feedback in all lessons while taking an active part in school life.

Both experienced teachers and NQTs may apply.

Midday Assistant Required (5 days per week)

We require a Midday Assistant working 5 days a week at Oakfields Montessori School supervising and securing the safety and welfare of our pupils during lunch break 11:30-13:30.
